Corporate Debt Officer Location: Kent Contract: Permanent Salary: £26,654 per annum Start Date: Flexible Contact: (url removed) Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Kent for a Corporate Debt Officer to join the team on a permanent basis. The postholder will contribute to the effective administration and recovery of all Corporate Debts in an efficient and effective manner, and in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policy and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist with the effective administration and recovery of a range of Corporate Debt accounts in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures. Communicate professionally with customers, stakeholders and internal departments to resolve account queries and payment issues. Maintain accurate records and update systems to ensure all case information is current and compliant. Support customer-facing activities including telephone enquiries and attendance at magistrates’ court when required.Candidate Criteria Previous experience in administration, customer service, debt recovery, revenues or a finance-related environment is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet performance targets. Competent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
