Electrical Bias M&E Engineer 📍 Charing Cross, Central London 💰 Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Call-Out Allowance + AP Bonuses 🕗 Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm (with flexibility available) 🔐 Must be eligible to pass SC/DV Clearance The Opportunity: We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Bias M&E Engineer to join a highly professional engineering team at a prestigious Central London site, located just a short walk from Charing Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants long-term progression, exposure to critical environments, and genuine investment in their development. The role offers a substantial training and upskilling budget, including opportunities for AP training and further career-enhancing qualifications. What You’ll Be Doing * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems * Fault-finding and repairing electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and controls * Supporting HVAC, pumps, motors, FCUs, AHUs, and associated building services equipment * Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site procedures * Working within a high-security environment requiring professionalism and attention to detail * Participating in a 1 in 6 call-out rota What We’re Looking For * Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ / equivalent) * Strong building services maintenance experience within commercial or critical environments * Good all-round M&E knowledge with an electrical bias * Able to work independently and within a team * Must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC/DV clearance * Strong communication and problem-solving skills What’s On Offer * Salary up to £45,000 * Overtime opportunities * 1 in 6 call-out rota allowance * Flexible approach to working hours * Significant training and development budget * AP training opportunities available * Performance-related bonuses * Long-term career progression within a stable and respected engineering environment Ideal Backgrounds This role would suit engineers from commercial offices, critical environments, government facilities, data centres, healthcare, or high-end corporate buildings looking to further develop their technical and career credentials.
