Maintenance Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment in Dudley. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance team, implement preventative maintenance strategies, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement across plant, equipment, and facilities. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and team performance * Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes * Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental, and statutory regulations * Coordinate equipment inspections, breakdown response, and contractor management * Support site improvement projects and energy efficiency initiatives * Maintain asset registers and SAP purchase requisitions Essential Requirements * HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering * IOSH Supervising Safely (or equivalent) * Previous maintenance leadership experience within heavy industrial/manufacturing environments * Strong communication, organisation, and team leadership skills * Good Microsoft Office knowledge Desirable * SAP experience * First Aid trained * Train-the-trainer experience Shift Pattern: Mon–Thurs 06:00–14:00 | Fri 06:00–12:00 Some flexibility required for breakdown support and essential maintenance work
