About the position We're recruiting an Accountant to join this forward‑thinking, collaborative team. Whether you're newly (or almost) qualified or if you have up to three years' experience, this is a role designed to stretch you, develop you and accelerate your career within a 6-12 month development plan. Which will then progress into taking the lead and managing your own portfolio. Once you are set up and ready to go this is what to expect from your day: Create financial reports with impact Produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, adding clear, meaningful insights clients can act on. Build budgets & forecasts that drive decisions Develop smart budgets, analyse performance, and translate data into forward thinking recommendations. Deliver truly personal client support Tailor your approach to each business, offer proactive guidance, and build long lasting client relationships. Provide advisory that fuels growth Help clients strengthen cashflow, improve profitability, and plan strategically as a trusted finance partner. Keep bookkeeping & VAT on point Maintain accurate records, up to date ledgers, and fully compliant VAT returns. Collaborate with a high‑energy team Work closely with Account Managers and Finance Assistants to hit deadlines and contribute to a positive team culture. What We're Looking For A solid qualification Our firm is actively seeking fresh talent to develop and mentor. We're looking for candidates who hold a recognised professional qualification such as CIM, AAT, or ACCA, and who are newly qualified up to those with around three years of experience. Practice based experience You've worked in an accounting practice or a high volume setting with multiple accounts and know what it takes to support multiple clients with confidence Strong financial foundations Reporting, budgeting, forecasting - you've got a firm grip on the essentials and know how to turn numbers into clarity A growth minded attitude You thrive in a modern, evolving firm where ideas matter, collaboration is valued, and the pace is exciting f you align with this role and can see yourself thriving within a structured 6-12 month growth plan, we'd love to hear from you.
