Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer (Electrical Bias) 📍 Food Manufacturing | 💰 £49,000 - £52,000 | 🕒 Days (7am-4pm, flexible) We're recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer to join a well-established food production business. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while staying actively involved on the tools. 🔧 The Role Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers 70/30 split - electrically biased, hands-on role Maintain and troubleshoot: Sensors, relays, and drives Single & three-phase motors Food production machinery Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site ✅ Requirements Electrical qualifications (essential) Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential) Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on 🎓 Training & Progression Some training provided Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role 💼 Package Salary: £49,000 - £52,000 Hours: 7am - 4pm (flexibility required) Shift Pattern: Days only Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays Pension: NEST scheme Healthcare: Available after 1 year Overtime/Shift Allowance: None 📌 Additional Info Hiring process already underway - quick turnaround expectedIf you're an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking for a stable days-based role with leadership responsibility, this could be a strong fit
