Environmental and Sustainability Engineer

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global aerospace supply chain organisation committed to continuous improvement and responsible business practices. This is a brand-new opportunity for an Environmental & Sustainability Engineer to join the Quality department, supporting the business as it continues to develop and strengthen its environmental and ESG strategy. This standalone role, reporting into the Group Head of Quality and working closely with the wider Quality team, will be responsible for maintaining and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, supporting EcoVadis assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. You will work cross‑functionally across the business, driving environmental improvements, maintaining policies and procedures, and supporting data collection, reporting, and audit activity. Who we are looking for: Proven experience working in an environmental or sustainability role Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Experience supporting or coordinating EcoVadis submissions Understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory compliance Comfortable working cross-functionally to influence and support change Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach Passionate about sustainability and continuous improvementIn return we are offering: A competitive salary package (dependent on skills and experience) Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
