Fire alarm & Security Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Fire Alarm & Security Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.  Summary of the Fire Alarm & Security Engineer role  Salary: £35,000 - £38,000  Location: Field based  Type of Contract: Permanent   Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-4pm   Responsibilities of the Fire Alarm & Security Engineer Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV and emergency lighting services Identify, diagnose and rectify faults efficiently  Complete small works and remedials where required Accurately complete service reports, certificates and compliance documentation using digital/mobile platforms Consistently uphold high standards of workmanship, compliance and health & safety Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts Manage stock/van parts Maintain clear communication with the office, providing detailed job notes and technical feedback Requirements for a successful Fire Alarm & Security Engineer Field-based engineering experience within the fire and/or security sector Technical knowledge of fire alarms,  access control, CCTV and emergency lighting Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively Strong customer service and communication skills Full UK driving license What our Client offers  Company van About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
