Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Company: Tradewind Recruitment Salary: £100-£120 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply Start Date: ASAP About the Role Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain hands-on classroom experience. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher Deliver pre-set work and ensure a productive learning environment Maintain strong classroom behaviour management Support students with their learning where required Follow school policies and procedures at all times Requirements Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.) Strong communication and classroom management skills A positive, proactive, and flexible approach A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Degree-level education (desirable but not essential) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
