Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a contract basis. The Role As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key link between residents, site teams, and the client, ensuring clear communication and a positive customer experience throughout the lifecycle of works. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills, organisation, and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for residents during works Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any disruptions Manage resident enquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution Arrange and attend pre-start meetings, home visits, and follow-up appointments Coordinate access to properties and schedule works with residents Maintain accurate records of all communications and interactions Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure smooth delivery Identify and provide additional support to vulnerable residents where required Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing Full UK driving licence (essential) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve complaints effectively Excellent organisational and administrative abilities Able to work independently and manage a busy workload What’s on Offer Competitive contract rate Opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on long-term social housing projects Ongoing support from a dedicated recruitment consultant Potential for contract extension or further opportunities Please note: only candidates with proven social housing experience and a full UK driving licence will be considered
