Night Warehouse Operative

Machine Operative Location: Letchworth Pay: £15.25 per hour Job type: Temp to perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 10pm to 6am About the Role We are recruiting a Machine Operative on behalf of our client, a well established print company based in Letchworth. This is a temp to perm, full time role offering consistent night shift hours and the opportunity to work in a busy production environment where reliability and attention to detail are essential. This role may also suit candidates searching for roles such as: • Machine Operator • Production Operative • Print Finisher • Manufacturing Operative • Warehouse or factory based roles involving machinery What You’ll Do • Set up and monitor multiple machines during production • Oversee four machines at once, working closely with one other team member • Ensure automated machines continue running smoothly after setup • Actively run and manage the remaining machines alongside your colleague • Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving • Maintain quality standards and report any faults or inconsistencies • Follow health and safety procedures at all times What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in a machine operative, production operative, or manufacturing role is beneficial • Confident working with machinery or technical equipment • Able to think quickly and solve problems independently • Highly motivated with a proactive approach to work • Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once • Comfortable working night shifts after initial training period Who Might Suit This Role This position is ideal for someone with experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments who enjoys hands on work and keeping processes running efficiently.
