What You Will Be Doing As a Plant Technician / Mobile Plant Technician / Plant Machinery Technician you will be responsible for: Performing major and minor repairs to plant machinery across customer sites throughout Southern England Carrying out PDI works and attachment set up on plant machinery as an experienced Mobile Plant Technician Performing regular inspections and preventative maintenance services according to machine hours and schedules Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for machines and vehicles Completing relevant documentation, paperwork and warranty claims to manufacturer requirements Maintaining inventory in the service vehicle and keeping it clean and well-organised Providing in-house training to recruits and trainees as required as a Plant Machinery Technician Pay and Benefits £22.00 per hour | £45,760 per year | OTE £55,(Apply online only) Overtime paid at £33.00 per hour Saturdays paid at overtime rate Extra day off for your birthday 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Death in service at 4x salary Internal mentorship programme Annual appraisal and comprehensive ongoing training Auto-enrolment pension What You Will Need To be considered as a Plant Technician, Mobile Plant Technician or Plant Machinery Technician you will need: Proven experience as a Plant Technician, Mobile Plant Technician or Plant Machinery Technician Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Plant Machinery Repair and Maintenance Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle and machinery classes Flexibility on location and working hours across Southern England DBS check will be required upon successful application How to Apply A mobile Plant Technician role at this level of pay covering Southern England will not be available for long.
