Refrigeration Engineer - London Location: London & Surrounding Areas Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Travel + Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing HVAC & Refrigeration company operating across London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of commercial refrigeration systems across retail, hospitality, and industrial sites. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of refrigeration equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently and in line with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems Working on equipment such as pack systems, cold rooms, walk-in fridges/freezers, and display cabinets Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration systems Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs Completing service reports and documentation Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards Maintaining strong working relationships with clients Requirements Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems F-Gas certification (essential) Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) Full UK driving licence Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and within a team Desirable Experience working in supermarkets or retail environments CO₂ / Hydrocarbon system experience Electrical fault-finding knowledge Package & Benefits Competitive salary up to £55,000 (DOE) Paid travel time Overtime opportunities Company van & fuel card Call-out rota with standby payments Pension scheme 25 days holiday + bank holidays Ongoing training and career development Why Apply?
