Trainee Freight Forwarder Location: Woodford Green, East London Salary: £24,000 Full Time Position - Office Based The Opportunity A fantastic entry-level opportunity to launch your career in international freight forwarding with a fast-growing UK logistics business specialising in global transport solutions. We are seeking a bright, curious and proactive graduate to join a specialist operational team. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain exposure to end-to-end freight operations, compliance, and customer coordination within a high-performing and supportive environment. The Role You will work within the operational team supporting the movement of international cargo, with full training provided. Key responsibilities include: Preparing shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists) Supporting export/import compliance and customs requirements Assisting with container bookings and shipment coordination Monitoring schedules, cut-offs and cargo movements Liaising with customers, suppliers, shipping lines and hauliers Supporting issue resolution and process improvements Job Requirements No industry experience required - just a genuine interest in logistics and operations Strong communication and organisation skills Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Proactive, inquisitive mindset - you ask "why", not just "how" Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environmentWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
