Logistics Operative – Stores / Packing Salary: £27,500 starting salary + daily overtime paid at 1.5x Location: Near Uxbridge (commutable from Denham, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Hayes, Harrow, Rickmansworth) Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12pm Friday Type: Permanent About the Role We’re supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer near Uxbridge who are looking to bring in Logistics Operatives to join their Stores and Packing teams. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a highly regulated, clean, and structured environment, with consistent overtime available and long-term stability. Important – Please read before applying Due to the nature of the work, this role requires: * A consistent 5-year work history (No more then 3 roles within the last 5 years, with explanations for any gaps in employment required) * Ability to pass BPSS clearance (No criminal record etc) Please note: employment cannot begin until clearance is completed, which can take up to 4 weeks. What’s in it for you? * £27,500 starting salary * Daily overtime paid at 1.5x rate * 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with option to buy more) * 9% non-contributory pension * 4x salary life assurance * Healthcare Cash Plan * Cycle to work scheme & retail discounts * Early finish on Fridays Logistic Operative Duties * Picking, packing, labelling and preparing parts for shipment * Checking batch numbers, part descriptions and quantities against system records * Ensuring correct packing materials and accurate labelling * Working closely with logistics/shipping teams to meet dispatch deadlines * Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks * Supporting across Stores, Packing and Internal Transport * Receiving goods into Stores and moving stock across site * Using FLT or similar equipment (training provided if needed) What we’re looking for * Previous stores, warehouse or packing experience * Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines * Good attention to detail and accuracy * Basic computer skills (Word, Excel or similar systems) * Reliable, methodical and a strong team player Interested?
