Key Responsibilities: * Evaluate and assess underwriting applications to ensure risk is accurately managed. * Collaborate with sales teams and other departments to ensure seamless client interactions and exceptional service. * Contribute to the development of underwriting strategies, risk assessment procedures, and pricing models. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and colleagues. * Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and relevant financial developments to identify business opportunities. Key Skills & Requirements: * Previous experience as an underwriter, ideally with knowledge of trade credit, accountancy, or commercial finance (but not required). * Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and manage risk effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines. * Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
