Multi-Skilled Engineer Near Soham, Cambridgeshire £50,000 Panama Shift (Days Only - 06:00-18:00) We're recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a production site near Soham, working a Panama days-only shift pattern. This is a hands-on maintenance role in a busy environment where equipment reliability and quick response to issues are critical. You'll be part of a shift team responsible for keeping production running safely and consistently. What you'll be doing Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site equipment Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment quickly and safely Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Supporting continuous production and reducing downtime Working as part of a shift engineering team on a Panama pattern Maintaining accurate maintenance records and system updates Supporting general improvement and reliability initiatives Ensuring all work meets health and safety standards What we're looking for Multi-skilled engineering background Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance Comfortable working a Panama days shift pattern Strong awareness of health and safety Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills Package & Benefits Salary: £50,000 Panama shift pattern (days only, 06:00-18:00) 22.5 days holiday (1 July - 30 June) Company pension scheme (auto-enrolment, 3% employer / 5% employee) Life assurance (2x annual salary) 6-month probationary period The reality of the role This is a structured, shift-based engineering role with a solid salary for a days-only Panama pattern.
