CAD Coordinator (Engineering Support & Systems Administrator) £35,000 Office-based | Standard daytime hours This is one of those roles where nothing physically breaks, but everything still needs to work. We're looking for a CAD Coordinator to support a busy engineering department by keeping systems, data, schedules and documentation accurate, organised and usable. If engineering keeps the site running, this role keeps engineering from falling into organised chaos. You'll be the person making sure information is current, processes are followed, and the engineering team actually knows what's going on without having to ask five different people. What you'll be doing Updating and maintaining planning and scheduling boards daily Managing CMMS data including component records, stock levels and inventory accuracy Processing absence documentation including return-to-work forms Managing holiday requests and supporting engineering rota administration Maintaining the Time Management System (TMS) Handling general engineering administration, including emails, spreadsheets and documentation Creating PowerPoint presentations and weekly engineering KPI reports Liaising with suppliers, OEMs and contractors as required Maintaining training matrices and highlighting gaps or requirements Managing engineering PPE orders and associated records Completing daily process confirmation checks and reporting findings Highlighting non-compliance with processes and procedures Organising and maintaining engineering filing systems Producing documentation and correspondence for the Site Engineering Manager Supporting training coordination for the engineering team Maintaining strong health and safety compliance across all documentation and processes What we're looking for Strong administrative experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment Confident use of CMMS, spreadsheets and data systems Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple systems and deadlines at once Good communication skills when dealing with internal teams, suppliers and contractors Confident producing reports, presentations and structured documentation Proactive approach to identifying gaps, errors or missing information Strong understanding of confidentiality, compliance and process discipline The reality of the role This is not a "quiet admin job".
