Competitive salary and benefits including: • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • 1pm finish on Fridays 🎉 • Pension scheme • Electric car & cycle-to-work schemes • Employee discounts 🔧 What you'll do in this role as Production Planner • Raise and manage production orders in our ERP system (e.g. Acumatica), aligned with demand and schedules. • Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy across components, quantities, and revisions. • Own short-term inventory planning to ensure material availability for production. • Monitor stock levels and proactively resolve shortages with procurement and warehouse teams. • Generate and issue pick lists to support accurate and timely material allocation. • Coordinate daily and weekly production plans with the shop floor to ensure achievable schedules. • Track production progress and adjust plans in response to demand or capacity changes. • Ensure data integrity across planning, inventory, and production records within the ERP system. • Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and system usage. 🧠 What we're looking for in a Production Planner • Experience in production planning, materials planning, or a supply chain role within a manufacturing environment. • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Acumatica or similar). • Good understanding of BOM structures and inventory management principles. • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy. • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment. • Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally with production, procurement, and warehouse teams. • Proficiency in Excel for tracking and analysis.
