OPS/MVS System Automation Engineer

OPS/MVS System Automation Engineer – 6 month initial contract (Inside IR35 - £475/£500 PAYE) - Remote Join a global banking organisation delivering critical mainframe automation and monitoring solutions. We’re hiring an experienced OPS/MVS Automation Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale automation across IBM z environments. The role tasks: Build and enhance mainframe automation & monitoring rules Administer and support OPS/MVS (Broadcom) Troubleshoot incidents & provide production support Deliver automation solutions aligned to global standards Work with stakeholders to design effective, scalable solutionsTo apply you should have the following skills and experience: Strong IBM z / Mainframe background (automation focus) Experience with OPS/MVS or IBM SA / NetView REXX scripting skills Solid understanding of incident, problem & change processes Proven production support & troubleshooting experience Strong communication skills and ability to work independentlyNice to have(s): Confluence, Jira, GitHub Inside IR35 PAYE (No umbrella fees or Employers NI) - Fully Remote (UK/EU) - Immediate start preferred Stuart Graham Click Recruitment (url removed)
