Transport & Dispatch Team Leader West Midlands | Permanent | Days Only £32,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)  Transport / Dispatch Team Leader | Logistics | Drivers | Manufacturing Are you an experienced Team Leader with a background in transport or dispatch, used to managing drivers in a fast-paced environment? We’re working with a growing manufacturing business looking for a Transport & Dispatch Team Leader to take ownership of the day-to-day dispatch operation. This role has direct responsibility for HGV and delivery drivers, with close coordination across warehouse and FLT teams to ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be visible on the floor, driving performance and ensuring deliveries leave on time and in full.  The Role Lead and manage a team of HGV and delivery drivers      Coordinate closely with warehouse and FLT teams (dotted line) to ensure efficient loading and dispatch      Oversee the day-to-day dispatch operation, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time      Plan and prioritise workloads in line with delivery schedules      Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, accuracy, and efficiency      Work closely with production to ensure goods are ready for shipment      Drive continuous improvement across dispatch and transport processes      Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance      Support training, coaching, and development of drivers What We’re Looking For Experience in a transport, logistics, or dispatch environment      Proven experience managing or supervising drivers      Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced setting      Good understanding of dispatch and transport processes      Confident using systems and handling documentation      FLT licence advantageous but not essential
