The School Offers: A supportive and approachable Senior Leadership Team A strong inclusive ethos across the school Established SEN systems and structures A collaborative staff team Flexibility around working days (where possible) The Role Will Involve: Leading and managing SEND provision across the school Overseeing EHCPs, reviews, and SEN support plans Supporting and advising staff on effective SEN strategies Liaising with external agencies, parents, and professionals Monitoring pupil progress and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place Ensuring the school remains compliant with SEND and safeguarding requirements The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) (essential) Have prior experience working as a SENCo within a primary setting Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice Be organised, proactive, and able to work strategically Have excellent communication and leadership skills Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection proceduresThis role is ideal for an experienced SENCo looking for a part-time position within a supportive and well-run school, where they can make a meaningful impact.
