Senior M&E Project Manager

Senior M&E Project Manager – Major MoJ Project (Leicestershire) We are currently supporting a leading M&E contractor in the appointment of an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager to join a flagship Ministry of Justice (MoJ) prison development in Leicestershire. This is a high-profile, long-term scheme with a project lifespan of 2–3 years, offering stability and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a critical piece of national infrastructure. Working directly with the M&E contractor responsible for the full mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) delivery, you will take ownership of the project through all phases, from early-stage coordination through to commissioning and handover. The Role As Senior M&E Project Manager, you will: * Lead the end-to-end delivery of all MEP packages on site * Manage programme, budget, quality, and risk across the M&E scope * Coordinate closely with main contractor, consultants, and stakeholders * Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to specification and programme * Drive health & safety standards and ensure full compliance with MoJ requirements * Support commissioning, testing, and successful project handover About You * Proven track record delivering large-scale M&E projects (ideally within the MoJ, custodial, or similarly secure environments) * Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills * Experience managing complex, multi-package MEP installations * Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and programme effectively * Relevant technical or engineering background within M&E What’s on Offer * Permanent position with a leading, well-established M&E contractor * Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package * Opportunity to work on a landmark, long-term project (2–3 years minimum) * Clear pipeline of future work offering long-term career stability This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level M&E professional looking to take on a major project with long-term security and progression within a respected contractor.
