Teacher of French Location: Doncaster Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Until Summer 2026) Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable About the Role Prospero Teaching is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Doncaster to recruit a passionate Teacher of French. This is an exciting opportunity to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the position running through until Summer 2026. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed French specialist who can inspire students and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons within a supportive and well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages department. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialises in French and has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Demonstrates strong classroom management skills Has a passion for languages and a commitment to student progress Is reliable, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one) What Prospero Teaching Can Offer Competitive rates of pay Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school environment Long-term placement with potential for further opportunitiesIf you are a motivated French Teacher looking for a long-term role in Doncaster, we would love to hear from you.
