Litigation Paralegal


JOB DESCRIPTION About the role The Legal Services team at Guinness is looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal to process standard litigation cases, supporting the Litigation Lawyers with more complicated litigation, focusing on disrepair housing condition claims and claims under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. This is a full time, 35 hours per week, permanent role based at our London office. We currently offer hybrid working, blending office days with working from home. What we are looking for We are seeking someone with experience supporting or undertaking litigation work who can present information clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms. You will be highly organised, methodical, and able to maintain excellent attention to detail while working to deadlines and targets. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. You should also bring proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and a proactive approach to managing your workload. You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills: Experience of undertaking or assisting in litigation matters. Ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard, including excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail. Experience of working to deadlines and targets. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours. Desirable skills: Previous experience of working in a housing association or public sector body. Essential Qualifications: Law Degree or Graduate Diploma in Law or Legal Practice Course or CILEX Level 3 (Associate) or equivalent.
