Overview: Our long-standing client is looking to appoint a BIM Manager to lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy, standards, and processes across the business on a 6-month FTC with the opportunity to be extended. This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for driving BIM adoption, ensuring high-quality model coordination, and supporting efficient project delivery across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:BIM Strategy & Governance * Develop and implement BIM strategy, standards, and workflows aligned with business objectives * Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and information management best practices * Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific requirements Model Coordination & Delivery * Lead multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection * Ensure model accuracy, quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards * Conduct audits of BIM models and deliverables Systems & Data Management * Manage Common Data Environment (CDE), data structures, and naming conventions * Oversee document control, versioning, and data integrity * Support integration between BIM, CAD, and manufacturing systems Stakeholder & Team Leadership * Act as the key point of contact for BIM across internal teams and external stakeholders * Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance * Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and BIM best practice adoption Essential Requirements: * Proven experience in a BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator role * Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM information management * Proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks and/or MicroStation * Strong understanding of engineering/design workflows * Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) Desirable: * Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or similar * BIM certification (ISO 19650 / BIM Level 2) * Experience within manufacturing or complex engineering environments * Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Dynamo, DriveWorks) * Experience integrating BIM with production or manufacturing systems On Offer: * £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience) * 6-month fixed-term contract (with potential to extend) * 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday, 37 hours) * Predominantly office-based with occasional travel If the role is of interest, feel free to contact Martin on (phone number removed)
