Design & Technology Teacher (Full-Time) - Durham Location: Durham, County Durham Company: Tradewind Recruitment Job Type: Full-Time (Supply) Start Date: Post May Half Term 2026 - Maternity Cover (until Christmas 2026) Salary: £168.80 - £261.78 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) About the Role Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Durham on a full-time basis. This role will start after May half term 2026 and will run as a maternity cover until Christmas 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire students through creative and practical learning, helping them develop technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence within Design & Technology. You will be responsible for planning and delivering structured lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. A strong understanding of health and safety within workshop settings is essential, alongside the ability to manage practical lessons effectively and safely.
