Civil Site Manager

Location: South Gloucestershire, Bristol Type: Contract 7 Months We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support our client Essential Skills: Must have experience as a Civils PCSM on Grid projects, with certifications including NSI 6 & 8, HSG47 for Substations, Lifting Supervisor, and Manual Handling. Description: * Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work. * Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements. * Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions, Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings. * Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work. * Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements. * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations * Communicate effectively with the contractors, client and internal staff. * Attend weekly progress meetings. * Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction * Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project * Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labor including a site dairy * Desirable to already hold SSE authorization of minimum CAT1C
