The role: You’ll train as an IPS Employment Specialist, supporting people in the community to find and sustain employment. Manage a caseload of ~25 participants Deliver 1:1 support (CVs, job search, interview prep, in-work support) Work alongside NHS teams, Jobcentres, and local partners Engage employers to create job opportunities There are vacancies in Ealing, Brent and HillingdonThis is a community-based role (no office or home working). You’ll work across partner sites such as Job Centres, council offices, and NHS services. Important to know: You’ll be working with vulnerable individuals, many of whom have experienced significant challenges. The charity classifies this as a high-risk environment, and safeguarding is a key part of the role—you may encounter safeguarding concerns in your day-to-day work. It’s a challenging role where you’ll manage your own diary, work to targets, and juggle multiple priorities. There is a high level of lone working, but check-in systems are in place to support your safety. Being organised, resilient, and able to manage your own wellbeing is essential. Training & development: Full IPS training is provided, including online learning, shadowing, and ongoing support from your Team Leader. This is a practical, real-world role where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting people with mental health needs, and build a career in the employment support sector. What we’re looking for: You don’t need direct experience, but you should have one of the following: Experience supporting vulnerable people (paid or voluntary), or 12+ months in a target-driven role (e.g. sales, recruitment, customer service)You’ll also need strong communication skills, empathy, and confidence working independently. Details: Full-time, permanent (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) Community-based (no home working) Interviews: 18th May (in person) Start: 2–6 weeks from offer (not suitable for September starts)
