To support continued growth, we are looking for a Transport Manager to take ownership of our distribution operation and ensure our products reach customers safely, on time, and in perfect condition. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Transport Manager or a capable Transport Supervisor looking for the next step. You will oversee all day‑to‑day transport activities, manage a busy fleet, and lead a team of drivers delivering high‑value, fragile products. Experience with glass, glazing, or window/door transportation will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily transport operations, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries * Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections, compliance, and vehicle scheduling * Help to support, and develop a small team of drivers * Ensure safe handling and transportation of glass, glazing units, and window/door products * Optimise routes, vehicle utilisation, and delivery performance * Maintain full compliance with transport legislation and company standards * Work closely with production and customer service teams to maintain high service levels * Monitor KPIs, costs, and operational performance to drive continuous improvement About You You’ll thrive here if you’re organised, proactive, and confident leading people in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
