Site Manager (Carpentry & Joinery Background) Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience) Location: London & Home Counties We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with a strong carpentry and joinery background to oversee the delivery and installation of bespoke joinery packages on high-end projects. This role requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to lead installation teams to deliver work to exceptional standards across hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential projects. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate joinery installation teams on site * Ensure works are delivered to specification, quality standards, and programme * Act as main on-site contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers * Resolve on-site issues and manage snagging through to completion * Maintain strong working relationships across all site stakeholders * Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements, RAMS, and site procedures Essential Requirements * 5+ years’ experience on Tier 1 contractor projects * Background in carpentry/joinery with hands-on site knowledge * Experience managing subcontractors and installation teams * Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and technical documents * Excellent attention to detail and quality standards * Strong communication and leadership skills * Good knowledge of digital reporting and snagging tools * Proficient in Microsoft Office * SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS Gold Card Desirable * NVQ Level 4 (or working towards Level 6–7 in Construction Management) * First Aid at Work certificate * Fire Marshal training Benefits * 26 days annual leave + bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Sick pay * Ongoing training and development support
