Assistant Site Manager – Residential Barnstaple | Long-Term Work | Permanent Opportunities Available We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a main contractor on a residential development based in Barnstaple. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to move into a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting with daily site management on a residential development * Supervising subcontractors and trades on site * Monitoring progress and helping maintain programme targets * Supporting health & safety compliance, inductions, and toolbox talks * Carrying out quality checks and managing snagging works * Coordinating deliveries and site logistics * Liaising with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and client team * Ensuring site standards and housekeeping are maintained Requirements: * Assistant Site Manager experience with a main contractor * Strong residential housing background essential * SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred * Good communication and organisational skills * Ability to commit to long-term work Competitive rates available with ongoing work and permanent opportunities for suitable candidates.
