Key Responsibilities: Lead and support operational teams delivering projects for a major UK electricity network operator. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a professional representative of the business across network operations. Champion safety at all times, promoting a Zero Harm culture throughout all activities. Oversee the delivery of both secondary and primary substation projects within regulated distribution environments. Consistently meet or exceed client expectations, performance KPIs, and contractual requirements. Ensure full compliance with SHEQ standards and industry safety regulations. Support team development, retention, and overall performance. Maintain accurate financial forecasting and contribute to long-term regulatory growth planning (e.g., RIIO-ED2 framework). Uphold and promote company core values in all aspects of work.Candidate Profile: Proven experience within the electrical distribution or utilities sector. Experience working within a UK Distribution Network Operator (DNO) environment is highly advantageous. Background in substation replacement, refurbishment, or upgrade projects (both primary and secondary). Strong relationship management experience within regulated infrastructure environments. Solid understanding of DNO technical standards, operational procedures, and safety rules. NEBOSH and/or SMSTS qualifications (desirable). Full UK driving licence. First Aid and Manual Handling training (desirable).
