Production Floor Manager

We’re recruiting for a leading glass manufacturer and distributor looking for a sharp, hands-on Production Floor Manager to drive performance, lead teams, and keep operations running like clockwork. What You’ll Be Doing: * Leading day-to-day production operations across the factory floor * Managing, coaching, and developing a team of operatives and supervisors * Ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are consistently met * Monitoring workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements * Maintaining strict health & safety compliance at all times * Coordinating with logistics, maintenance, and senior management teams * Overseeing shift planning, staffing levels, and performance tracking * Driving continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste * Handling on-the-spot problem solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role * Strong people management skills — you know how to get the best out of a team * A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality * Confidence working under pressure and making quick decisions * Knowledge of health & safety standards in an industrial setting * Experience in glass, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing
