Health and Safety Business Partner – Construction Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: £55,118 – £64,015 per annum Contract Type: Permanent | Full Time (36 hours per week) A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Business Partner to provide expert support and assurance across a busy and complex estate with significant ongoing construction and maintenance activity. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-profile, politically neutral environment where construction activities are delivered within a live operational estate of national significance. Key Responsibilities: * Provide competent health and safety advice and support to internal stakeholders and external delivery partners on all matters relating to construction safety and CDM compliance. * Support the development, implementation and improvement of safety management arrangements aligned to ISO 45001. * Undertake monitoring, audits, peer reviews, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with statutory duties and internal governance. * Evaluate and review safety documentation including RAMS, health and safety files, tender submissions and training materials. * Influence and support cultural change through engagement and training, contributing to a positive and proactive safety culture across all levels of the organisation. Essential Requirements: * NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent, and membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. Tech IOSH or above). * Demonstrable experience advising on construction-related health and safety within large, complex or sensitive environments. * In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and relevant health and safety legislation. * Proven ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors. Additional Information: * The role is based in Central London with flexible hybrid working arrangements. * Some occasional out-of-hours or weekend work may be required to support project demands. * Applicants must be eligible to undergo Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) security clearance, which typically requires having lived in the UK for 3 out of the last 5 years.
