M&E Project Engineer (Electrical Bias) Baildon, West Yorkshire Salary - £30-£35k We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a growing team based in Baildon. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong electrical background who is equally comfortable overseeing the full lifecycle of M&E project delivery. This role operates within a lead engineer model, giving you full ownership of your projects from initial review through to final account and handover. Key Responsibilities Review and re-evaluate projects against initial estimates prior to commencement Procure materials and manage buying processes efficiently Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes Oversee site delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency Manage and enforce health & safety standards on site Prepare valuations and manage variations, including pricing and negotiation Drive projects through to completion, including final account agreement and handoverYou may also support the estimating function during busy periods, so commercial awareness and a collaborative approach are essential.
