DT Technician

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced DT Technician to work at a local secondary school in the Salford area. The role is due to begin on 1st June will continue on a full-time, long-term basis. The school is looking for an experienced DT Technician who can hit the ground running and provide ongoing support to the DT department. Key Requirements: * Previous experience working as a DT Technician * Previous school based experience * Excellent communication skills * High attention to detail * Preparing, setting up and checking equipment * Supporting teaching staff and students during lessons * Putting away equipment after lessons * Ensuring a safe environment * Organising and storing equipment and checking stock * Repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment * Administrative tasks * Available from after May half-term * Hold right to work in the UK * Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service The school is a popular choice for local families and is always over-subscribed.
