Quantity Surveyor | Heavy Civils & Earthworks | Suffolk A civil engineering contractor specialising in large-scale earthworks is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery on a nationally significant infrastructure scheme in Suffolk. The role involves managing NEC contracts across cut/fill, drainage, haul roads, and associated early works on a long-term programme. Key Responsibilities * Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts * Lead change control, CE submissions, and cost forecasting * Prepare and present CVRs, applications, and supporting reports * Liaise with delivery teams to ensure commercial alignment with site progress * Support contract compliance, early warnings, and final account resolution Requirements * Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy civils, earthworks, or infrastructure * NEC contract experience essential (Option C preferred) * Confident managing subcontractor performance and reporting to senior commercial leads * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline * Site-based mindset with ability to work in a high-compliance environment Package * Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (DOE) * Lodge allowance: £21,630/year * Car allowance: £5,000 * Bonus: up to 10% * Pension and private healthcare * Multi-year project security This is a long-term commercial role on one of the UK’s most high-profile civil engineering programmes, offering project continuity and full exposure to complex NEC works.
