This school is seeking a Music Technology Teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 lessons that blend creativity with structure and technical rigour. The Role You will teach Music Technology as a practical and academic subject, ensuring students: Understand technology, not just tools Follow systematic production processes Develop independence and attention to detail Reflect on and refine creative outcomes Lessons are carefully planned, expectations are clear, and behaviour is well managed. Key Responsibilities Deliver Music Technology lessons across KS3–KS4 Teach recording, sequencing, editing, and evaluation Plan lessons with clear outcomes and progression Support coursework and controlled assessment Manage specialist equipment safely and effectively Assess work and provide clear, constructive feedback Maintain an organised, purposeful learning space Skills & Experience Experience teaching Music Technology or related subjects Confidence managing practical, computer based lessons Clear communication and strong organisation Ability to balance creativity with structure QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply.
