Bid Writer – Civil Engineering Location: Staines  8We’re working with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Bid Writer for their growing Staines office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business delivering major projects across civil engineering, infrastructure, and the built environment. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, compelling bids that help secure large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities Writing, editing and coordinating high-quality tender submissions (PQQs, ITTs, RFPs) Working closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams Managing bid timelines and ensuring all submissions are completed to deadline Tailoring content to meet client requirements and scoring criteria Reviewing and improving existing bid library content Supporting continuous improvement of bid processes and win strategies What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Bid Writer / Bid Coordinator / Proposals Writer ESSENTIAL: Background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of main contractor environments Experience working on frameworks, public sector tenders, and large-scale bids Excellent written communication and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Salary & Package Competitive package + benefits Long-term career progression Why Join?
