Project Manager – Remediation Contractor Location: UK-wide (flexible, with travel to sites) Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum Package: Car allowance/company car, annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (plus service increases), pension, flexible working, and full company benefits Sector: Remediation, Enabling Works, Demolition, Environmental Services Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist enabling works contractor delivering remediation, demolition, and environmental services across the UK. This role involves full lifecycle project management, including client engagement, project scoping, commercial oversight, and delivery of complex remediation and enabling works schemes. You will play a key role in supporting business growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to strategic objectives while leading operational delivery across a range of technically challenging projects. Operations and Services The company is a recognised specialist contractor operating across multiple enabling disciplines, delivering projects ranging from domestic works through to multi-million-pound regeneration schemes. Core services include: Land remediation and contaminated ground treatment Demolition and site clearance Asbestos removal and hazardous material management Passive fire protection Enabling works packages across public and private sectors Integrated project delivery across multiple specialist disciplines Operations are supported by a nationwide network of offices and delivery teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage full lifecycle delivery of remediation and enabling works projects Develop and maintain strong client relationships in line with business strategy Scope, price, and tender remediation works Lead project planning, programming, and resource allocation Oversee health & safety planning and ensure compliance with legislation Manage project budgets, WIP, invoicing, and financial performance Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Monitor project progress and ensure delivery against programme and objectives Maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction Support audits and ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards Liaise with corporate HSEQ teams and senior management Requirements Essential Proven experience delivering remediation or enabling works projects Strong understanding of ground engineering, contaminated land, and civil works Experience in project costing, budgeting, and financial management Knowledge of construction contracts and project delivery frameworks Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Full UK driving licence CSCS (Site Manager) Card Desirable Degree in environmental, civil engineering, or related discipline Professional accreditation (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) Experience with temporary works design or coordination Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks Salary and Package Base salary: £60,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience) Car allowance / company car Bonus: Annual performance-related bonus Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (plus additional service-related days) Pension: Company pension scheme Flexible working: Flexible start/finish times Additional benefits: Annual pay review Training and development plans Career progression opportunities Employee assistance programme and wellbeing support How to Apply Apply now with your CV or contact Brian Mbatha for a confidential discussion
