Facilities Services Engineer Location: Shannon, Co. Clare (with nationwide travel) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: €50,000+ (Negotiable, depending on experience) About the Role A growing facilities management company is seeking an experienced Facilities Services Engineer to oversee nationwide maintenance contracts for key retail clients. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role offering strong career progression within an expanding organisation operating across Ireland and the UK. Key Responsibilities * Deliver maintenance contracts in line with service level agreements (SLAs) * Plan and coordinate planned and reactive works across multiple sites * Lead projects, upgrades, and ensure timely completion of works * Conduct site audits, produce reports, and resolve on-site issues * Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders * Supervise technicians and manage external contractors * Coordinate schedules and maintain a reliable supplier network * Prepare quotations, manage costs, budgets, and invoicing processes * Produce regular reports and maintain accurate compliance documentation * Ensure adherence to health & safety standards, including RAMS and permits * Support continuous improvement of quality and operational standards Requirements * Relevant trade qualification (Electrical, HVAC, or similar) * Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management * Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage contractors and supplier relationships effectively * Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland * Strong IT and reporting skills * Full clean driving licence and valid SafePass * Eligibility to work in the EU and fluent English * Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours support Desirable * Experience in facilities or maintenance within a retail environment If this role is of interest, please reach out to Charles Howe of Tradeline Recruitment
