My client is a well-established engineering business operating across the UK, providing specialist maintenance and support on access equipment. They are currently looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team, working across a variety of environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. The Role - Service Engineer: * Servicing and repairing platform lifts and access equipment * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults * Responding to reactive breakdowns across your patch * Working across commercial, industrial, and residential environments * Daily interaction with customers and end users * Completing job documentation accurately using handheld devices * Working independently with minimal supervision Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Service Engineer: * Experience working as a Service Engineer / Lift Engineer / Platform Lift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer * Strong electro-mechanical background * Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance * Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems * Experience working on access equipment, lifts or similar systems * Professional and customer-focused approach * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently The Package - Service Engineer: * 25-30 days holiday + bank holidays * Additional day off for your birthday * Company pension scheme * Perkbox discount scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * Company van, mobile phone, and tablet provided * 37.5-hour working week * Overtime and on-call payments available * Full training provided (theoretical, practical, and on-the-job) * NVQ qualification available after probation About Precision People: Precision People is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in sourcing top talent for Engineering, Technical, Sales, and Senior Management roles across a wide range of industries.
