Beautiful Independent Prep School - Teaching Assistant Role - Shepherd's Bush W12, Part time, long term* We are working with a beautful independent prep school in Shepherd's Bush (W12) who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil within the classroom with ASD & ADHD on a 1:1 basis. Location: Shepherd's Bush, W12 Start Date: ASAP Role: Teaching Assistant – 1:1 (Year 4) Contract: Part time, long term Hours: 8:30-12:30 (Monday–Friday) Pay: £70-£80 for the morning Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ASD & ADHD * Support communication, engagement, and social interaction * Help the pupil access daily lessons and classroom activities * Work alongside the class teacher to follow and adapt individual support strategies * Create a calm, encouraging and structured learning environment * Maintain strong safeguarding and behaviour support practices About You: * Experience supporting pupils with ASD & ADHD * Calm, patient, and nurturing approach * Confident supporting year 5 * Proactive, reliable, and supportive Why Join Us? * Beautiful independent school environment - smaller classes and excellent facilities * Supportive leadership team and experienced SEND department * Long-term role and ongoing support from the school * Permanent opportunity from September 2026 * Excellent transport links
