Kerb Layer

We are currently looking for an experienced 2x kerb layers to work on HS2 project based in Water Orton available in Birmingham. 1x Kerb Layer operative RateL £18.90 ph PAYE A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-8 years Long term work available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets and want a stable job and income for the foreseeable future. Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Pension Training and upskilling paid for Safe working environment PPE Provided Life Insurance Secure regular income Candidates must have: - CSCS green or CSCS blue card (preffered) - Experience of all aspects of kerbing and slabbing. - Ability to use trench boxes or supports. - Must be able to prepare suitable bedding layer that is compacted - Able to accurately lay concrete kerbs, ensuring that they are aligned correctly and set to the designed levels - Must apply morta to the joints between kerbs to ensure stability and prevent water ingress - Backfilling the area behind the kerbs with concrete or orther materials.
