Steel Fixers Required – Lowestoft We are currently seeking multiple experienced Steel Fixers for a contract project based in Lowestoft, starting 5th May 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for consistent work over a 3–4 month period, with a negotiable rate depending on experience. Role Overview As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for positioning and securing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh used in concrete structures on a busy construction site. You will play a key role in ensuring structural integrity and compliance with project specifications. Key Responsibilities * Reading and interpreting technical drawings and bending schedules * Cutting, bending, and fixing steel bars and mesh * Installing reinforcement in foundations, beams, columns, and slabs * Tying rebar using wire, clips, or welding equipment * Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards * Working collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Requirements * Valid CSCS Card (essential) * Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on construction sites * Ability to read and understand construction drawings * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Own tools and PPE preferred * Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Contract Details * Location: Lowestoft * Start Date: 5th May 2026 * Duration: 3–4 months * Rate: Negotiable (based on experience) * Positions Available: Multiple How to Apply If you are interested in this opportunity, please get in touch with Louis to discuss further and secure your position
