Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer x4 SC Cleared UK Wide £55,000 - £90,000 + perm benefits Successful applications will need to hold current SC Clearance We are seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to join a collaborative platform engineering team delivering secure, scalable cloud services to UK-based customers. These roles blends hands-on project delivery with ongoing platform development, offering the opportunity to deepen your expertise in cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure automation. You will work in a supportive, agile environment alongside skilled engineers focused on building reliable, modern cloud platforms. Key responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud platforms with a strong emphasis on automation, reuse, standardisation, and blueprints Take a code-first approach, reducing reliance on manual configuration Deliver cloud engineering outcomes through agile-style sprints, aligned to customer needs Contribute to both project delivery and foundational platform improvement Collaborate closely with other engineers to continuously improve platform capability and reliability Maintain and enhance cloud environments in line with security and compliance requirements Actively develop your technical skills through training, certifications, and hands-on experienceSkills and experience Proven experience in cloud or platform engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform) Proficiency with version control systems such as GitHub Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based platforms Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible Experience working in Agile delivery environments Background in infrastructure and networking (desirable but not essential)
