What You'll Be Driving Freight Operations Mastery · Plan and coordinate road shipments across the UK and Europe · Work closely with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams · Keep shipments on track-proactively solving issues before they escalate · Ensure full compliance with transport regulations, ADR, and safety standards Customer Excellence · Be the trusted point of contact for key clients · Provide accurate updates, ETAs, and solutions · Turn challenges into opportunities to exceed expectations Commercial Control · Negotiate competitive rates with hauliers and subcontractors · Manage costs and protect margins on every consignment · Approve invoices in line with agreed tariffs Precision & Compliance · Handle critical documentation (CMR, customs, delivery notes) with accuracy · Ensure compliance with ISO standards and legal requirements · Support import/export procedures when required Data & Performance · Keep systems updated (TMS, ERP) with real-time accuracy · Monitor KPIs, delivery performance, and cost efficiency · Contribute insights that drive smarter operations What Success Looks Like · Deliveries that hit targets-on time, every time · Zero compliance issues or documentation errors · Strong margins and cost-efficient operations · Happy, loyal customers who trust your expertise · A reputation for reliability and operational excellence What You Bring · 4-5+ years' experience in road freight forwarding or logistics · Strong knowledge of EU transport regulations, Incoterms, ADR, and customs · Proven ability to juggle multiple shipments under pressure · Confident communicator with sharp problem-solving skills · Experience with TMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Why This Opportunity?
