Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) – Retail Projects £55,000 – £60,000 + Car / Allowance + Package Location: Wakefield (Nationwide Travel Required) Mechanical Project Manager required to deliver fast-paced HVAC projects across a national retail portfolio. Working for a well-established contractor in the retail fit-out sector, you will take full ownership of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to handover, often within live trading environments. The Role * Managing multiple HVAC/mechanical projects across retail sites * Taking projects from survey and design input through to delivery and completion * Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades on site * Ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards * Managing health & safety, RAMS, and site compliance * Producing CVRs and managing project commercial performance * Attending client and design meetings to ensure buildability and smooth delivery Requirements * Proven experience delivering mechanical (HVAC) projects * Background in retail, commercial or fast-track fit-out environments * Experience working in live environments (highly desirable) * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong commercial awareness (CVRs, cost control) * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid * Relevant HVAC / Building Services qualification What’s on Offer * £55,000 – £60,000 salary * Company car or car allowance * Secure pipeline of national retail projects * Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, well-established business Additional Info * Nationwide travel required * Projects are fast-paced and often delivered in live environments If you’re a Mechanical Project Manager who can take ownership, drive programme, and deliver in fast-track retail environments, apply now or get in touch
