Roofing Manager

An established and well-respected construction business is looking to appoint an experienced Roofing Manager to join its specialist roofing division. This is a permanent opportunity based from their Central Scotland head office, overseeing projects across both new and existing client sites. This role will suit someone with a strong background in roofing who is comfortable managing multiple projects and working closely with both operational and commercial teams. The Role You will be responsible for managing a range of roofing projects from initial client engagement through to delivery, working alongside an experienced team already in place. Key responsibilities include: * Attending meetings with both existing and new clients * Working with Roofing Supervisors to define scope of works for estimating and tendering * Assisting with Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) * Preparing and issuing written quotations * Monitoring project costs vs income on a weekly basis * Reporting into senior leadership at monthly valuation meetings * Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across all projects, working alongside the H&S team Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience within the roofing industry * Proven experience in a similar Roofing Manager or senior supervisory role * Strong knowledge of steel roofing, cladding systems and single ply membrane roofing * Good commercial awareness and ability to manage project costs * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Confident with IT systems and reporting * Positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach Qualifications * Recognised trade qualification in roofing * Full UK Driving Licence What’s on Offer * Salary £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience * Company vehicle or car allowance * Pension * On-site parking * Sick pay * Long-term opportunity within a stable and growing business
