Warehouse Supervisor – Basildon £14.50 PH Hours 9am -6pm Mon-Fri, also 1in2 Night shift 1pm-10pm Flex Free Parking 20 Days Holiday & Bank holiday Pension Warehouse Supervisor (Hands-On Leadership Role) We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic warehouse team of 5. This is a hands-on leadership position—ideal for an experienced warehouse operative ready to step up, take ownership, and drive operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient running of warehouse operations, stepping in for management when needed, and leading from the front to motivate and develop your team. Key Responsibilities * Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency * Operational Coordination: Plan and allocate daily workload, ensuring smooth shift handovers * Deputy Management: Step in to cover the Warehouse Manager when required * Training & Development: Deliver inductions, coaching, and one-to-one support to team members * Warehouse Operations: Operate VNA trucks and forklifts, and carry out Banksman/marshalling duties * Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock accuracy, booking goods in/out, and maintaining warehouse systems * Administration & Systems: Handle WMS updates, label printing, and data management * Customer & Internal Communication: Respond to queries and operational requests efficiently Essential Skills & Experience * Forklift Licence * VNA Licence * Minimum 3 years’ warehouse experience * Strong understanding of stock control & inventory systems Desirable Experience * Previous team leadership or supervisory experience * Full UK driving licence What We’re Looking For * Strong leadership & team-building skills * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * A continuous improvement mindset—always looking for smarter, more efficient ways of working * A team player who leads by example and inspires others If you’re ready to take the next step in your warehouse career and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you
